Summer exhibition proposal
I have custom made 3 wooden frames:

How many works:
I hope to show between 2-3 works. I am unable to confirm now as I will be experimenting with weaving in Unit 3. I am not sure if I will succeed.
Scale:
I have custom made the frames. However, I allowed the wood maker to take some liberty. Hence, the measurements might be inaccurate. But its estimated to be as follows:
Piece 1~1.7 Metres x 2.2 metres
Piece 2~ 90cm by 85cm
Piece 3~ Uncertain
Piece 1 will be a four-panel structure standing on the floor.Pieces of woven fabric will be hung from it. I do not have a photo of existing works because this will be the first time I will be experimenting with weaving and working without a tray frame.
Piece 2 and 3 will be my regular painting on silk. For example:
Specific request: Good lighting will be great as I work on silk. Silk is a translucent fabric. It requires good lighting for the colours painted on it to come out beautifully. I am considering the possibility of including music too.
Possible considerations:
The usual possibility of artwork falling etc. However, the frames are professionally made, so they risk of such accidents happening is almost zero.
Idea 1:
One possibility is to have two paintings hanging on the wall and one standing on the ground. Combined with music, this will create an immersive experience for viewers
Idea 2:
Silk is a translucent fabric. Hence, I am exploring the possibility of one piece hanging in front of the 4 panel structure. This will be an experimentation with layering
I am very torn with regards to representation format. I like concepts of fragility, giving viewers a sense of barely grasping onto a passing moment. I am not sure if there is a way of presentation to convey such feelings.
